  • Provides instruction and direction for the day-to-day operation of HERO business
  • This is the essential document that provides structure and ensures consistency and quality services

Board of Directors Handbook

  • The foundation of a committed, knowledgeable, and effective board is orientation and education. A board manual serves two functions:
  • For the new board member, it is an orientation handbook that provides useful information about the organization, board structure and operations, and fellow board members and staff
  • Second it is used as a working tool and resource about organization and the board.

Employee Handbook

  • A compilation of the company, benefits, employee compensation, policies, procedures, working conditions, and behavioral expectations that guide employee and volunteer actions

Volunteer Handbook

  • This handbook was prepared to give volunteers essential information about the policies and expectations of HERO volunteers
  • The handbook has been organized by topic to help find information you need easily

HERO Point of Sale System

  • Includes the necessary hardware and software
  • Minimizes start up issues
  • Minimizes start up time
  • HERO set up
  • Track Product flow from one location to another
  • Track who receives what so contact can be made for future needs
  • Reserve an item for a specific person for a length of time you choose
  • Accurate way to track all donations including equipment or by weight; by donor and prints donation receipt
  • Accurate inventory of what is available immediately and its value
  • Daily cash out makes system secure; credit cards, cash and checks have to balance daily
  • Pull demographics of donors and those in need
  • Pull financial reports at will
  • List top selling items by category or overall
  • Create your own bar codes and descriptions
  • All is online and therefore accessible anywhere in the world from any internet access point including Androids and Apple devices.

Summary

The benefits of the start-up package allows affiliate organizations to start up quickly, avoid start-up set backs and frustrations, and allows affiliates to organize and utilize volunteers immediately.
