HERO visits St. Joseph’s to Teach Kids about our Environment

Recycling through Redistribution

HERO Intern, Brittany, has been working on an environmental research project to see exactly how HERO is helping our environment. Part of her project is to present her findings in a fun way to students. We want to demonstrate what HERO does, how we help our community, and how HERO saves the environment.

Brittany and I went to St. Joseph’s school, in Moorhead, to talk with students about HERO and recycling through redistribution. Creating different ways to tell the same story to Pre-K through 8th graders, Brittany explained how recycling through redistribution works and asked how they can help recycle and make our world a better place. The third-sixth graders drew get well soon cards to give to HERO customers! We thank St. Joseph’s for allowing HERO to introduce our organization and spark conversation about the importance of preserving our environment.
